Frequently asked questions

Are roles paid?

Kindly navigate  deeper into the different application areas to understand which openings have 'in-kind' payment for tickets and which have budget.

Please keep in mind that we are an extremely tiny niche community event. Not even 1/10th the size of most festivals and events... we're here to engage the community and support those who support us.

Do I need to stay for the whole event?

It really depends on the role you are applying for.

However, we won't take applicants who wish to come, perform and leave. If attending our entire event isn't of interest, we'd encourage you to look elsewhere for engagements.

How do you select people?

This is varied and wide, but primarily comes down to accessing applicants on a balance between level of experience, enthusiasm and desire to shape experiences.

I missed out, how can I get involved next time?
